Some of the best things in life!

Here's a poem I wrote in year 10 that I found today while cleaning out some stuff on my shelf. Makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside! :o)

Some Of The Best Things In Life
Listening to rain pattering on the window, snuggly warm in bed, poetry writing. Walking in the rainforest, serenity, harmony, nature, trees, grass, sand, flowers, sounds of birds chirping. Teddy bears, hot chocolate, slippers, pj's, the warmth of your bed, sleepovers, a good book, cat purring at your feet.

Flying, clouds, clear blue sky, bubbles, ocean, sky, earth, fire, the sound of the ocean and waves. Walking in the city or the park in Autumn with leaves rustling behind you. The feel of water. The smell of fireplaces in Winter carried by the wind through the night sky. The feel of the wind on your face. Fresh air, showers, sunshine, breezes, storms, desire, inspiration, free spirited, enchantment, magick, spells, faeries, butterflies, angels, looking up at the sparkling, twinkling stars at night.

Flickering of a candle, sleeping, babies, scarves wrapped around tightly, being in a park and listening, having a picnic, watching a sunset, standing on a cliff watching the sunrise. Children, chocolate, friends, having fun. The smell of a Summer wind, a bunch of flowers, sweet sounding music, sounds of nature, sitting on a beach, the fruity smells of plants in Summer. Cicadas in Summer, a cool drink, colour, love, happiness, blue, yellow, pink, cuddles, laughing, kissing, hugs, a guy/girl who loves you holding you tightly, knowing someone loves you.

Good friends, family, animals, stars, hearts, dolphins, tigers, waves, sailing on the ocean, white, feeling of freedom, breath, sight, natural, hear, smell, touch, candles, crunching snow, soaking in a bath, dressing up.

Picking flowers, stillness, quietness, fantasies, letters, jewels, clothes, gifts, looking up at the blue sky losing yourself daydreaming, fluffy things, wondering, imagination, soft lips.

The coolness of ice cream on a hot day, the freshness of Spring mountain water, snow, ice, laughter, smiles, eyes glittering full of happiness, red rosy cheeks, a bright smile, baby animals in Spring, the smell of new born babies, fresh fruit, lollies, listening to music, singing.

Peace, drawing, knowledge, truth, curiosity, toys, books, stories, games, reading, food, desserts, photos, the trickling of a river over rocks.

Friendship, carnivals, birthdays, Christmas, Easter, talking with your friends, pillows, hot soup, nailpolish, swimming, darkness, balloons, making sandcastles on the beach, splashing, sport, skipping, jumping, joy, sound, silence, air.

Helping others in need, respect, friendliness, gratefulness, believing in yourself, appreciation, presents, soft rain pattering and sprinkling, company, strength, wisdom, adventure, kindness, stories, incense, dancing, painting, understanding, emotions, feelings, prayers, wishes and Dreams...
