What's Been Happening...

I'm soo buggered! I've had quite a few busy weeks with work, my other work, gym, netball, going out, shopping haha gotta love shopping! This week starting from Monday I've been going to the gym everyday with the exception on Tuesday which is when we play netball. I've been alternating between cardio and weights to just cardio on its own which Rich recommended and have been riding 10kms in 20 mins on level 5! Tonight I opted for something different so I did some interval training of running and walking on the treadmill for 30mins. My legs are kinda sore and I'm told I'll be sore tomorrow dammit! But it was fun! I love feeling energised and pushing myself to my limits :o)

In other news...we nearly won Netball last night! It was an awesome game, we all played so well and Rich and I are happy with our new positions of Centre and Goal Defence respectively. If you didn't know already Rich and I play in a mixed team with Jopps, Kev, Shae, Grace, Chelsea, Louise, Camilla and Pete is our sub. Most of us have never played before but you'd never know that seeing the way that we actually play! We were leading last night and thought we had it in the bag, but unfortunately lost 16-13. At least this team was more in our league! And our percentage will go up heaps. Not like the first couple of teams we played which were like pros and kicked our arses! But we play for fun and fun is what we have..it's awesome!

At work, I got 2 girls arrested! The little shits were mucking around with make-up and unwrapping packaging. I kept a close eye on them and once they left my area I called security and he caught them. They were only about 12 or something but dressed very skankily and were cheeky lil buggers about the whole situation. So at first I felt awesome about catching them, but felt bad when I overheard the cops telling them they were getting arrested but then felt good again coz it teaches them a lesson and they'll probably only have to do community service or something. So that made an exciting day at work for me! :p

At my other work (being at the Junior campus years 7-8 of a high school) they had Challenge Week while the year 7's were away. So instead of going to classes with the kids we got to do fun stuff! First of all I went to a home group of one of the kids and we had to make a flag (we had dark red) and give ourselves a name and have a chant. So the class was 8H and we were called the Hot Potatoes and our chant was the Wiggles' Hot Potato song lol! Each kid got a bit of the material to tie around their head or hair or arm or whatever and then we had Mind Challenges in groups. After that we had basketball and I was asked to play in one of the teams. I didn't want to but they needed an extra person so I thought why the hell not. A girl on the opposition kept complaing that I was an adult and wasn't allowed to play and that it wasn't fair. Shut up you lil skanky ho, I was asked and I'll play for my team thank you very much! I let the kids do most of the playing but in the end I scored the winning goal! Hahahaha cop that in your vagina! LOL (sorry I HAD to write that!) Then they played Irish Rounders which isn't Irish at all pretty much but it was funny to see them slip over.

Next day I was assigned a different kid and got to learn about snakes and lizards from this Steve Erwin wannabe. After he showed us the snakes and lizards he handed them out! I got to hold a baby crocodile! I was freaking out a little bit, coz i'd only ever patted a snake and nearly everyone had one around their necks. Then the guy said 'Those of you who have a snake, give it to someone who hasn't had one yet.' Guess who got a snake around their neck...My god I was shaking!! I was kinda frozen on the spot and as long as I could see where its head was I was ok, but then it went up the side of my face!!! I felt its tongue tickle my cheek!!! ARGHHHH!!!! My hands were flailing lol it woulda been a sight! Finally I managed to get someone to get it off me. It was definitely an experience I'll never forget! After that spectacle I got to hang out with Emma (one of the other aides) and we learnt some Jamaican dancing complete with bongo boy! Haha he was pretty cool and kept playing different beats. The lady was also cool and had the whole thick Jamaican accent going. I love accents, I could sit and listen to a Jamaican person all day long, I would also love to sit in an Irish pub or something all day long talking and listening to people lol. Anyways back on track...The kids sucked, except for a couple of them. They just weren't getting into it, they just wanted to watch the lady dance, but she was there to teach them dances. Anyways Emma and I got up and did most of the dances and tried to motivate the kids. It was awesome fun! Quite different but love the beats and rhythm! Then the lady starting telling the kids how the people of Jamaica work hard and have very little, and that you are experiencing an opportunity to learn about a different culture and just aren't making the most of it. It was funny how she started imitating some of the kids by walking funny and saying they are too cool to get up and dance. I bloody well agree with her. Some of these kids are little brats and just don't appreciate simple things and make the most of them.

After dancing I had to see the snakes again which seemed repetitive and his jokes weren't funny. And that was my last day because Monday was a day off and I only work Mon-Wed. But it was fun and beat the hell out of sitting in classrooms! With shopping I finally got this long sleeved coral Billabong top that I've wanted and a bluey/greeny striped scarf. Need to get more tops! Got Illy's 21st comming up on Sat, Ness's in July, Dinner parties, Netball matches, my 21st in October haha so far away! Ilke's wedding in December, Mother's Day, ice skating and movies thrown in there somewhere as well! Anyways that's enough from me! Stay groovy!

Random thoughts

OK lets's just go with some random thoughts here...try and keep up.
Todays weather was better than yesterday's weather. Yesterday's weather was shithouse, freezing cold, rain that's just shit, and icy wind that's even shitter. I'm glad I had my puffy coat to keep me warm and dry...I feel like an eskimo in that thing sometimes. It's my life saver now, coz if you don't know me well enough, I hate the cold. I even get cold in Summer, which on its on is a little weird :S I don't know why, I don't know how, but I do. I'm a freak yes I know. But I rug up and cope with it and complain lots and lots :) Love my trackies....I want green fluffy slippers from work. I want a less puffy jacket too! I need a long scarf...

Cam's lazy and I'm cold. He's the biggest slacker I know, I swear! He's just sat on his bum for the past 2 days in a row that he got off school and watched movies, played nintendo, or gone on the computer. I got home and he was still in bed at 10:45am. I made him get up, I did a few chores and got myself ready and asked him to do the dishes and hang out the next load of washing. He was also sposed to walk the dog and do his homework. I get home at 3:30 and he's having lunch watching a movie, the phone has fallen off the bench (which he hadn't noticed) fluff and ripped paper on the floor, dog chewing on god knows what and only the dishes had been done. Nothing else. Zip. Nutta. SLACK I say, SLACK!

I miss fun dips...Gym tomorrow = 10km bike ride or more. Gotta stick to my program and maybe go twice a day, program and then a class or vice versa. And we need to play more squash!!! Squashy squash squash! And netball...we lost on Tuesday, I didn't get to play, but I sat and talked with Pete and cheered on our team and got some tips from watching lol. Fun fun! Prison Break rocks, and I'm behind in episodes of Lost..dammit I need the Molloy Boy's hard drive to catch up. Got a masqerade ball next week on thursday and I went looking for a mask today with Ness. Went to 2 places that I know have heaps, Lombard's and Bayside Fancy Dress. Man there are a few to choose from. I was hoping for a black cat one but they were shit. I tried on heaps and they looked shit. I looked either like a superhero, a masked bandit or an idiot lol. The more I tried on, there more stupid it looked. I found a nice one that's different, black with cut out bits that I could decorate with diamontes or something and a feather or what not, or go for a feathery one or the other one I found....hmmm soo hard to choose. Rich is wearing a batman mask :P

Was speaking to Ako before, he rocks! :) He's a big fan of Prison Break just like myself, but the poor thing stuffed up his taping of last night's episode. I told him to download it instead so hopefully he can watch it then. Damn its cold! I can hear the wind and rain and its making me chilly. I'm trying to learn to type with more fingers on my left hand instead of just the one and its kinda working but I'm going slower and it feels weird. I served like 2 people tonight and not even with cash. We're getting new register's in too! The coolo touch screen ones like Coles :) that'll be fun! I need to get a tan next week. Whoopdiwoowoo....

Meh my bed's gonna be cold. Does anyone else's beds get cold? I'll have to put my electric blanket on my bed so it warms it up beforehand :) Oh one of my most favouritist things about Winter and the cold? The smell of open fireplaces....gorgeous! Used to love smelling it while walking home from school, makes you feel all cosy and reminds me of the country. Love sitting by the fire too and roasting marshmellows :) mmmm Mum will prob put a fire on tomorrow night ;) Anyways I think its time to stop and go to bed coz I have been awake since 6am and Dave and I made scones :) yum! Goodnight!
